2012 Honda PCX 150. For 2012, the PCX 150 was launched in Australia. The US skipped the 2012 PCX 125 as they made a switch for the PCX 150 model which arrived in the summer of 2012, these were later sold in 2013 for both Canadian and US markets. This model became known as the PCX 125/150 eSP as the label was displayed on the airbox.

Per Honda use the same 10w30 oil used in the engine, in the gearbox. Gear oil has more additive for gear protection but, not really needed for the type of gears used in our scooters. Some other manufactures do call for gear oil though, in those applications follow the manufactures recommendation. trigg123. Regular User.

Just change the rear transfer gear oil with 4T 10w-40 synthetic mobile 1 using a container pump with hole to fill it till it spit some back out / fairly easy using 12mm socket & extension. Reused oil crush washers. First time since new, the oil gear oil looked kind smoked & smelled weird. I will change that oil every 3000 miles too from now on. ECsyH.
